Kimberly Anne Chambers (Mundy)

1971-2026

Kimberly Anne Chambers (Mundy) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday May 21st 2026, at St Joseph’s Hospice in London. Kim was born February 9 1971 in London to the late Tony (2021) and Valerie Mundy (Hammond) (1999).

Kim worked at SJHC London in various administrative roles for 30 years. Kim never hesitated when it came to living life to its fullest potential and found joy and meaning in gardening, cooking/ hosting, snowboarding in Collingwood, cottaging in Ipperwash and spending time with her family and friends. Kim rarely said no to anything, and one could often find her secondhand shopping or packing a snack bag (or cooler) to bring on a road trip. Kim was always quick to make light of any situation having a joke, witty remark or funny face at the ready. Kim had a zest for life and certainly made the little moments truly meaningful for those she cared about.

Kim will be eternally missed by her loving husband of almost 11 years Colin Chambers, her children Carter Belair, Hillarie Chambers- Conlin (Kyle), Nick Chambers (Mia Mckitterick), her brother in law Richard Hoffman, nieces Julia Rowley (Lennon), Katherine Hoffman, and nephew Alex Hoffman (Sophie).  Kim will be missed dearly by her dog Kody, grand-dog Wrigley and many more friends and extended family.

After 7 years of fierce perseverance battling cancer, Kim is now reunited with her parents and sister, Tara Mundy (2016).

Family, friends and others whose lives Kim touched are invited to celebrate her at the Civic Garden Complex (625 Springbank Dr) on Friday August 14th 2026 between 12pm and 4pm.

Family ask that those who choose to attend her celebration of life please consider wearing colours to celebrate the bright and colourful personality of Kim.

If you feel so inclined to make a donation in Kim’s honour, family ask that they please be made to St Joseph’s Hospice London where Kim was cared for with the utmost respect and dignity in her final 47 days.

Kim’s family have chosen to memorialize her on Springbank Park’s Graham Arboretum memory wall and plant a tree in her honour which will take place this fall.
