Judson Lee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judson Lee, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Judson, or "Jud" as he was known to many, passed away on April 30th, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Jud was a man who loved life, and his family was the center of his world. He cherished his wife, Cathy Lee, and was a devoted father to his four children, Vanessa Horodecky-de Jong ( Tim de Jong ), Jud Turnball, Melissa Lee ( Mark Taha ), and Todd Lee ( Bess Lee ). He was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Judson, Nicholas, Bohdan "Dan", Kalyna, Li, Nick, Nathan, Edouard and Maya and his great-grandchildren, Judson and Nova. He instilled in them the same values that he held dear and was always there to offer guidance and support.

Jud's life was a testament to the power of hard work and dedication.

Some of our father's favorite things were spending time outdoors, being at the farm, a cozy fire, steak dinner, and sorbet. These simple pleasures brought great happiness to him.

While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Jud is reunited with his brother Arthur "Buzz" Lee ( Lynda Lee ), who passed away before him.

We welcome everyone who knew and loved Jud to come together and share their memories and stories of him. Please join us in honoring the life of a truly remarkable man who will be missed by all who knew him.

To celebrate his life and legacy, a gathering will be held on:
Saturday, May 27th, 2023, from 1 pm to 4 pm at The Farm, located at 13922 Eight Mile Road, Arva, Ontario, N0M1C0.
Flat shoes are recommended as the celebration will take place outside on the grass.
Seating is limited. Bringing your own chair is helpful.
This event will take place rain or shine.

A zoom call will be provided to those who would like to log in remotely. Contact Melissa 416 985 2278, text is best.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.

The Lee family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We miss Jud more than words can express.
