Mary Colvin Macpherson

1932 - 2026

Mary passed away peacefully at her home of 7 years at Windermere on the Mount on Tuesday September 29, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born in Scotland, emigrated to Canada to join her fiancé John (Ian) where they married and built a fulfilling life together.

Mary had an entrepreneurial spirit and, working with John, created a successful business which they ran together. She explored the world with John on their many travels.

She was an avid tennis player but more than anything, she loved to sing. She was a dedicated Sweet Adeline for 40 years singing in the Oakville, St. Thomas and London choruses.

Loving mother of Sheila Holloway (Thomas) and J. Scott Macpherson (Patti). Cherished grandmother of Grace Holloway and Graham Holloway (Andrea Renshaw).

A private family celebration will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
