It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Tweedie, who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 65, at Victoria Hospital surrounded by family.

Glenn will be remembered as a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved. Whether he was preparing a home-cooked meal or sharing one of his many stories, he had a way of bringing people together and making every moment feel special.

Throughout his working life, Glenn dedicated himself to serving others. He worked as a porter at Victoria Hospital for the majority of his career before later becoming a school bus driver, where he was known for his reliability, kindness, and friendly nature.

Those who knew Glenn will remember his warm heart, his love of cooking and storytelling, and the love and joy he brought to his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Glenn leaves behind his loving family, whose lives were enriched by his unwavering love and support. He will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

In keeping with Glenn’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. His family invites those who knew him to remember him in their own way and to cherish the moments they shared with him.
