D.M., Leanne, Jim, and Fraser: With sadness, I send my sincere condolences to you in the loss of your mother and grandmother. It was a distinct privilege to know Wanda for an all too short time. I shall miss her presence and remember fondly and distinctly her kind, thoughtful
informed and classic elegance . Lois Leatham

Husband Pater was an esteemed member of PROBUS London Chapter and I picked him up for our monthly meetings and got to know and like Wanda. I remember distinctly the time that I came to collect Peter and Wanda sorrowly had to tell me that Peter was in the hospital with a very serious ailment, which indeed made him pass away soon after. On behalf of all Probus members, our condolences to you all. Harry Coumans

My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Wanda's daughters and extended family. What a great person Wanda was. The first time we met it was a girls night at Sandra Schuster's some 30 plus years ago. I remember 3 things from that night---drinking wine, laughing our heads off about a disastrous blind date I had just escaped and especially Wanda's infectious laugh and wicked sense of humour. There were many "wine" nights and dinners over the years and the memories are numerous---how elegant Wanda's table settings always were, how great a cook she was and and how beautiful and put together she was and always down to earth .Playing cards with Wanda was sometimes a "blood sport" ---all in fun. Wanda was gracious and interesting because she was always interested in many things. When you saw her and Peter you knew how much he worshiped her and how she loved him in return. You knew how proud she was of her daughters. Everyone who knew Wanda will remember her fondly. I hadn't seen her often in the last few years but that didn't matter--the greeting was always as though you had just seen her yesterday. May your many happy memories help get you through the next days and months as you miss your mom so much and experience this great loss . And as the years pass, I know you will continue to find comfort in those memories. In deepest sympathy, Sincerely Jane Gibson

I am so sorry for your loss. I used to do Wanda’s hair years ago and didn’t hear of her passing. She was such a lovely woman and I am great full to have spent so much time with her.
