At Joseph's Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Much loved husband of Ann Claire Brunton, father to Zai Pitman and Olivia Dewolf, sibling of Felicia Mareels (Lloyd Koski), Kim Harvey, And Shane Jones (Ian Williams), uncle to Chad, Jan, and Alicia (deceased) Mareels, Jordan (Veronica Manzerolle), Kalyn (Ed Johnson), and Taylor (Breanne Grenier) Jones, great uncle to Pierre, Guy.
Robyn's love for running began as a child, and continued into adulthood where he ran as well as trained others. This led him to a fascination with anatomy and, in turn, a 30 year career as an RMT, specializing in long term care for motor diseases. He taught as well as served on the Ontario Board, and after retirement, turned his hand to writing a book about "Touch". He strongly believed in Community Gardens, Food Security and advocacy for the vulnerable. Robyn was a friend and mentor to countless people as he shared his love for literature, the arts and music.
Celebration of life takes place at Civic Garden Complex, Friday, May 18, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.Donations to St. Joseph's Hospice would be appreciated.
