Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday May 14, 2020, at the age of 35.

Beloved daughter of Stephanie Anne Quenneville (Step-father Charles) and James Joseph Desnoyers. Cherished mother of Mason Larocque. Dear sister of Desiree Desnoyers, loving Aunt to Rex and Lisa. Loving partner of James Ritchie. Also survived by Mason’s father Adam Larocque. Granddaughter of Margaret Greenwood (G.G.) and Rolland & Bernice Desnoyers.

Predeceased by her grandparents Alfred and Lotte Vincent., Larry Greenwood. Very much loved and will be deeply missed by many of her Aunts, Uncles, cousins and other close relatives. Will be greatly missed by her close friends and many acquaintances.

“I was given this Life because I am strong enough to Live it.”

Lisa was born at St. Joseph Hospital in London, On. She lived her childhood in Chatham, On. She belonged to the family of St. Joseph School for 10 years and continued on to St. Ursuline College, “The Pines”, until she graduated from grade 12.  As a young adult she decided to move to London, Ontario where she stayed. She took the Fine Arts Program at Fanshawe College. This allowed her to create beautiful works of art on different media. She worked a few different jobs along the way and her last job was at Norma Jean’s for 10 years eventually becoming a Manager.

She continued to upgrade her studies several times but her illness would set her back. More treatments and determination she pushed through and was not wavered to let the illness run her life.

Her love of travel started very young as she was sponsored to visit    Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. Later, she travelled to Cuba, Florida and Mexico which she felt she would love to live one day.

Always athletic she found a way to keep fit, whether roller blading, kick boxing, yoga and meditation or just walking her beloved dog, Harley. Lisa enjoyed baseball and belonged to several Slow Pitch Teams.

Her true gift was the birth of her son, Mason.  She loved and adored him. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was always ready for gatherings with her friends.

One of her favorite things to say to people was, “Make lots of Memories - Live in the Moment.”    We have no doubt that she chose to live that way.

We would like to extend our warm thanks to the team of Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, at London Health Science Center, In-home Palliative Care team, St Joseph Hospice, Southwest LHIN and many more people who were directly involved with Lisa’s care. Your dedication and support were extremely appreciated and will always be remembered.

Also, to the family and friends who supported her with kindness, love and support to keep her spirits up. It made a huge difference in her daily journey.

Due to the Covid -19 pandemic,  Lisa's Celebration of Life will be held after restrictions have been lifted and announces at a later date.

In Lisa’s memory donations may be made to London Humane Society. Messages and condolences may be left at www.forestcitycremation.com. Please Lisa's obituary notice on Facebook.

When she left this world she left a big hole your heart thats because she took a piece of your heart and love with her in her journey beyond this life. Hello Grace and Guy.....
Thank you for your very kind words about our daughter. I remember when she was a young teenager and the Dentist stated that braces would help your jar line....etc....after that appt she looked at me and stated..."Do I have to get braces?" I said, it will change your inner self and boy your smile will be contagious. I really had no idea but had to say something positive. She did it and hated it. But the outcome was fabulous! Your right it was part of her heart smiling back at ppl. Thanks again and we will truly miss her but not her spirit! Take care Grace and Guy.

My cousin was one of a kind. Even though we aren’t blood related I always felt an unspoken connection to her. I wasn’t always sure what it meant, but now I understand. She was a lot like me, but even better. I learned so much from her that inspired me. To look or change the way I viewed my own life. Or just life itself. She was my inspiration and will continue to be throughout my whole life. I will never forget her and will live my own life the way she once did hers. My thoughts are with everyone who has lost her in some way. She meant a lot to a whole lot of people. Remember to live everyday as much as you possibly can because Lisa would want that for everyone. ❤️🌹

Lisa we didn't hangout often but you were a dear friend for many years and I always had a smile on my face whenever I saw you. We laughed a lot and my best memory of you is that was 1 night at Norma Jean's I forgot my cup at home so you being you, you went home and brought back a cup for me so I could drink and have fun that night!

RIP my dear friend you will be missed by so many but you will never be forgotten by anyone

My deepest condolences to everyone that this beautiful women's life touched in anyway. I played softball with Lisa growing up in Chatham, and went to High School with her. When I moved to London it just so happened that she was working at my favourite bar, Norma Jean's. I last seen Lisa at the fundraiser that was held for her at that bar. She was such an amazing human being. She found time for everyone. And had never ending patience. Even though our run ins were infrequent, I am going to miss her so much. R.I.P. <3

My condolences to you Stephanie and the entire family. Lisa was a very vibrant young lady and will be missed by so many. I remember Lisa being around our house a lot with my sister Natalie as young teenagers, oh the trouble them two used to get into, there are many wonderful memories.
