A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at University Hospital for their care and kindness in making her last few days comfortable.
Joyce will be buried next to her husband in Montreal.
Joyce was fiercely loyal to her family and many friendships developed over the decades while living in Longueuil, Two Mountains, Port Hope, Toronto, St. Thomas and London. She was a lively, wise and courageous woman. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Joyce was a feminist ahead of her time. Her career included time in the engineering and financial service industries. She was always passionate about her community and about politics. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Joyce’s life will occur in January at a time and place to be determined.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
