Janice (Jan) Finlay

In my 49th year, on July 7, 2017, after an intensely personal journey, the time has come to say goodbye.

With my deepest appreciation to Pat and Liz Daigle and Chuck and Barb Daigle/Rosser, it has been a joy to be surrounded by family in the truest sense of the word.

My gratitude abounds for the medical teams of LHSC and the London Regional Cancer Program.

No visitation. Contributions to either of the Windsor Essex or London Middlese x Humane Societies would be most welcome.

To my friends... until we meet again.

I am so saddened to hear this news and wish the family in London, who watched out for and supported her during these past years, my deepest condolences. Janice was an incredibly bright and vibrant woman....she endured her cancer journey with dignity and grace. Rest in peace dear Janice, rest in peace.

I first met Janice when we worked together at Howie's. It was there that I learnt of not only Janice 's hard work ethic but of the kindness in her heart. Deepest sympathy to Janice's family.

Janice, you were far too young with so much to offer. I am so saddened by this news. I truly thought you'd beat your diagnosis as you were always so positive and grateful. May you rest in the sweetest peace. Xo

Profoundly sorry for the Finlay family and friend's loss. Janice set the bar for excellence when we worked together ... always supportive in sharing her expertise - I learned so much from her. Wishing you ever comfort and kindness at such a sad time.

I was so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. We shared time working with the CHCAA. I was always impressed with her professionalism and dedication as well as her sense of humour and positive attitude. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Grade school, high school, waiting at bus stops together and exploring alternative music mixed with your sense of humour, wit and brilliance helped make growing up with you grand. I still have the Unforgettable Fire cassette tape you gave me for my 14th birthday. To Janice's family and friends, sincerest condolences and may you find peace.
