After a long and courageous battle with COPD and Lung Cancer, Ann has gone to be with the Lord.
Predeceased by her sons Guy Borland and Dana Borland. We asked them to guide her home, and we are sure the reunion was beautiful.
Mum will be missed by her children and grand children. Jenny Robinson (Brad), Glen Borland, Mark Borland (Cindy), Penny Borland and Tina McCready (Steve). Affectionately know as Grandma Ann to 12 grandchildren and GG (great-grandma) to 23 great grandchildren. Ann will be dearly missed by her family in England. Cherished sister to Ray (Carol) Parsons, Janet Soaris and Brian Parsons (Kim). Predeceased by her sister Pam Aldridge (Les) and her Brother in law Ted Hilton. Auntie Ann to many nieces and nephews.
Ann immigrated to Canada from England at 17 years old, and loved a good hot cup of tea right up to the end. Life wasn’t always easy for her but you wouldn’t know it as she made friends with strangers and struck up conversations wherever she went.
There are many people to thank for the amazing care they provided in her home: Dr Tara Walker, the Paramed home care team of nurses especially her friend Rosalin, VON and ProResp.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Please visit Ann's obituary notice on Facebook.
