Cheryl's fight with cancer ended quickly at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday December 18, 2019.
She is predeceased by her parents Bing and Doreen Quesseth., She leaves behind brother Wayne (Colombe), sisters, Bonnie (Gerry), Luanne and Pattie (Fred), and her many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Cheryl also leaves behind some incredible friends that she would be upset if not acknowledged. Her long time friend Susan Green, who was Cheryl's partner in crime while working In the Urology clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her love for the "other" men in her life, Dr. Gerald Brock, Dr. John Denstedt and Dr. Hassan Razvi. She looked forward to going to work for you everyday. After 35 years of working at St. Joseph's, Cheryl officially RETIRED just this past October 8.
Also, a special heartfelt thank you to Andrea and Roland, Gariepy, Susan Green and Susan McLeish who have been a God send during this most difficult time. Jodie and I will be forever grateful. To all doctors, nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital, we thank you. To all who sent cards, flowers and expressions of support, encouragement and love, we thank you and are humbled.
As per Cheryl's wishes, there will be no funeral but as she always wanted a 'PARTY' that will be held in the spring with "fancy sandwiches". Cremation has taken place and all arrangements caringly entrusted to Forest City Cremation Services.
Even though mine, Jodie's and John's hearts remain heavy, please know that having Cheryl in our lives will forever be etched in our fondest memories and we will miss her beyond words. Sleep in peace Cheryl, we love you.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society of London.
