Survived by his wife Teresita (Galicinao) Lodge, son George of Vancouver, B.C. and five grandchildren Tammy, Matthew, Paul, Morgan and Jordie. Predeceased by father Chester Lodge, mother Alva (Childs) Lodge, sons, Allan and Jim.
He served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a wireless operator aboard ship in the Pacific during WWII. Upon discharge he was employed by the B.C. Electric Company in Vancouver for five years, followed by nine years at the Timken plant in St. Thomas, Ontario. Then almost thirty years with the Federal Government in various places across Canada, eventually retiring in Vancouver.
