Went to sleep on July 24, 2017, in her 75th year, at Parkwood Hospital after a courageous battle. Daughter of the late Frank & Doris Lawrence. Survived by her devoted husband Harvey, her two sons Greg & Darryl and their wives, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her eight siblings Dolores, Lyle, Ronald, Lloyd, David, Marlene, Gerald, Colleen and their spouses, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Carole loved her best friend & sweetheart Harvey Williamson for over 55 years. Together they raised their two sons, Greg & Darryl. Carole was well known for her beautiful smile and her love of people. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she found great joy in sharing with others the simple truths of good news as found in the Bible, in both English & Sign Language - (Romans chapter 10, verses 13, 14 & 15) The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in so many ways. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 459 Second Street, London, Ontario. The family sincerely appreciates the exceptional care Carole received in the last four and a half years from the London Health Sciences Centre Cancer Clinic & Palliative Care Unit and the Parkwood Palliative Care Unit. As well, we say a heartfelt 'Thank you' to the excellent, compassionate and professional nursing staff who cared for Carole's needs at home on a daily basis. In my 49th year, on July 7, 2017, after an intensely personal journey, the time has come to say goodbye.
With my deepest appreciation to Pat and Liz Daigle and Chuck and Barb Daigle/Rosser, it has been a joy to be surrounded by family in the truest sense of the word. My gratitude abounds for the medical teams of LHSC and the London Regional Cancer Program. No visitation. Contributions to either of the Windsor Essex or London Middlesex Humane Societies would be most welcome. To my friends... until we meet again. Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday July 2, 2017.
