A quiet, soft spoken true gentleman, Raymond’s kindness was paramount, his gratitude abundant. His many years spent serving in the Canadian Air Force and his love of travelling the West Coast kept his heart full.
A deep heart felt thanks to the incredible staff of Veterans Care / 3rd Floor Essex at Parkwood Hospital, for their continued dedication and constant presence in Raymond’s life for the last 2 ½ years. Words can not express how truly grateful we are for the level of care that Raymond received. To his roommate John, you were a blessing. Thank you for watching over Raymond and for your unwavering guidance and support. We are forever grateful.
Raymond is survived by his youngest brother Bill, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Flora May (Oliver), sister in law Anna. Also predeceased by his brothers and sisters Arlene, Elva (John), Vera (John), Ken (Gertie), Harold (Doris), Lyle, and Don (Edna).
