April 3, 1941 - January 23, 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adrianne "Leona" Gardham, surrounded by loved ones on January 23rd, 2020 at University Hospital in London at the age of 78.

Predeceased by her father George Miller, mother Adrianne Press, stepfather Bill Press, aunts and uncles and her Best Friend Bonnie Rosborough. Survived by her stepbrother Wayne Press (Bev.) her two Goddaughters Cheri and Laura Budd, aunt Barb Miller and many cousins. Forever our Guardian Angel.

Leona "Auntie" was a proud and loving mother to her cats and her goddaughter Cheri. (Mother. There won't be another place like her again that we call home.)

Leona retired from McCormicks (Beta Brands Ltd.) in 2005 after 46 years of service. She will forever live on in the hearts of many people; especially the “Lunch Ladies”.

Special Thanks to the Nurses and Physicians in the CCU at University Hospital.

No service by Leona's request. Cremation has taken place by Forest City Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. April. 4/20 from 1-4pm at New Hope Community Church, 4009 Colonel Talbot Rd., London, ON N6P 1E8, 519-652-1026.

On Sunday, January 12, 2020, George Prendergast passed away peacefully at University Hospital with loved ones by his side. Beloved husband to Jennifer (Dawkins), dear father of Debbie (Steve) Stevenson, Susan (Terry) Dryden, Ken, Mike, Steve (Rachael), Ben, Julie, and Shannon. George is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Joyce Mould. Predeceased by sister Jean Robinson, and brothers Jack, Roy, and Allan.

George was a longtime employee of Kellogg's Canada. Throughout his life he had a passion for golf, watching baseball, and playing poker with his friends. His favourite musician was Buddy Holly, and loved apple pie (well, any dessert really).

A celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, January 16 from 1pm - 5pm at Berkshire Club in London. Friends and family are welcome to join us and share their favourite memories of George. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local Humane Society would be appreciated.  Please visit George's obituary notice on Facebook.

In loving memory of Irena Maria Cunningham (nee Snablic) born September 14th, 1931.  Irena passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Monday January 6th, 2019, in her 88th year.

She will be joining her beloved son Mirek, and her husband Peter in heaven. Irena will be sadly missed by her sons and their wives, her 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

I am standing upon the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white
sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.
 She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until at length
she hangs like a speck of white cloud
just where the sea and sky come
to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says;
"There, she is gone!"
"Gone where?"
Gone from my sight. That is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull
and spar as she was when she left my side
and she is just as able to bear her
load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone
at my side says, "There, she is gone!"
There are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout;
"Here she comes!"
And that is dying.
