Passed away peacefully at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Monday January 15, 2018, at the age of 87.
Born in Quebec, son of the late Edward and Florence (Walker) Sauson. Beloved husband of 66 years to Betty (Riley) Sauson. Loving father of Greg (Kathy), Mark (Janet) and Lesley (Bob).
Cherished grandfather of Cody, Colton, Justin, Lindsay and Pierce. Great grandfather of Naomi and Jayde. Also survived by sisters-in-law Blanche Archer and Dorothy Sauson, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Dean was the last surviving member of his family, having been predeceased by his brothers.
Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation in Dean’s Memory.
